Relation Between Glycated Hemoglobin Level and Hearing Loss in Type 2 Diabetic Patients

Poor glycemic control in type 2 diabetes patients is linked to higher hearing thresholds. This study found that elevated glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels correlate with impaired hearing, especially at higher frequencies.
