Abstract:
A quadrangular prism-like oxidized tin sulfide catalyst with abundant sulfur vacancies was designed and synthesized for the CO2ER. The quadrangular prism-like structure is utilized to increase the stability, while vacancy engineering is used to improve the activity and selectivity of the catalyst. The catalyst exhibits exceptional electrocatalytic activity for CO2 reduction to HCOO-, achieving up to 95% faradaic efficiency for HCOO- and maintaining stability for up to 36 hours at -1.0 V vs. RHE in a 0.1 M KHCO3 electrolyte.
