    Halothane anesthesia did not worsen liver disease in cirrhotic rats. This study found no adverse effects of halothane on liver function or cell necrosis in rats with pre-existing cirrhosis.

    • To investigate the safety of halothane anesthesia in a rat model of cirrhosis.
