Association Between Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Bronchial Anthracosis

Blackened bronchi (anthracosis) significantly increases the risk of developing tuberculosis (TB). Biomass fuel smoke exposure is a key risk factor for anthracosis and subsequent TB development. Further TB investigations are crucial for patients with anthracosis.
