Fructosamine as an Indicator for Glycemic Control in the Veteran Community.

Fructosamine is a reliable alternative to Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) for monitoring glycemic control in veterans, especially those with hemoglobin disorders. This study found a strong correlation, supporting its use in the Veterans Affairs healthcare system.
