Muscle Pathology Associated With Cardiac Function in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Abdominal muscle fibrosis, not lower extremity muscle fibrosis, correlates with cardiac dysfunction in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). This finding helps predict heart problems in DMD patients.
