Facet-engineered NaNbO3 cubes with exposed (101) plane for enhanced lithium-ion storage

Abstract:
Density functional theory (DFT) predicts superior lithium-ion diffusion via the (101) plane of NaNbO3. Experimental results confirm that despite a reduction in surface area, 6 μm NaNbO3 cubes with more (101) plane exposure exhibit enhanced Li+ storage, underscoring the significance of crystal facet engineering.
