Adding right atrial linear ablation to cryoballoon pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) significantly reduces atrial arrhythmia recurrence in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation (AF). This enhanced ablation strategy improves rhythm control compared to PVI alone.
