Specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs) and proinflammatory lipid mediators (PIMs) dynamics were studied in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Findings reveal simultaneous inflammation and resolution, suggesting enhanced endogenous repair before PCI for better myocardial infarction (MI) treatment.
