The N-Acetyltransferase 2 Polymorphism and Susceptibility to Inflammatory Bowel Disease: A Case-Control Study

Genetic variations in N-acetyltransferase 2 (NAT2) may influence inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) risk in Poland. Specific NAT2 alleles and genotypes were associated with increased or decreased susceptibility to Crohn's disease in the studied population.
