Abstract:
The article presents an analysis of the medical, demographic and socio-economic conditions for the implementation of the active longevity policy in Russia and European countries. Based on statistical data from Rosstat, OECD Statistics, UNECE Statistical Database and Eurostat, the peculiarities of the aging of population and the non-standard age profile of wages in Russia are demonstrated. The Russian and European experience of implementing the ideas of the concept of active longevity is considered, on the basis of which the features and main trends in this area are highlighted. In conclusion, recommendations are proposed for further adjustment of the active longevity policy in Russia at the federal, regional and local levels.
