    • All patients presented with significant renal compromise, including hydronephrosis, confirmed by imaging and laboratory tests.

    Findings:

    • Surgical intervention and urologic evaluation led to symptom resolution and radiographic improvement in four out of five patients.
    • One patient progressed to chronic renal failure and hypertension despite treatment.

    • Thorough preoperative assessment of the urinary tract, including contrast radiography, is vital for patients with pelvic pathology.
