Differentiation of rapidly growing scotochromogenic mycobacteria employing the ZYM API system as substratum

Nineteen enzyme activities were investigated in 15 species of rapidly growing scotochromogenic mycobacteria, employing the ZIM API system is substrate. With this system, the time of identificaiion is reduced from two weeks to four hours.
