    Background:

    • Retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) damage is a key indicator of glaucoma and other optic neuropathies.
    • Assessing the relationship between structural RNFL changes and functional visual field deficits is crucial for disease monitoring.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To correlate semiquantitative retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) scores with visual field indexes.
    • To differentiate the impact of localized versus diffuse RNFL changes on retinal sensitivity.
