    Summary

    Algodystrophy (AD) is linked to type IV hyperlipoproteinemia, characterized by increased triglycerides and very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL). Further research is needed to explore the role of post-heparin lipolytic activities (PHLA) in AD.

    Background:

    • Algodystrophy (AD), also known as complex regional pain syndrome, is a debilitating condition.
    • Lipid metabolism plays a crucial role in various physiological processes and disease states.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the association between lipid metabolism and algodystrophy (AD).
    • To identify specific lipid profile alterations in patients with AD.
