    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the efficacy of prophylactic immunoglobulin administration in reducing infection rates after gastric surgery.
    • To assess the impact of immunoglobulins on various postoperative outcomes.

    • A prospective randomized study involving 180 patients undergoing gastric surgery.
    • 90 patients received prophylactic immunoglobulins (0.25 g/kg) on the day of operation and the first postoperative day.
