Summary

High-resolution noncontrast CT head exams (HR-NECTH) offer comparable diagnostic accuracy to temporal bone CT (TBCT) for detecting superior semicircular canal (SSC) abnormalities. This study found similar performance in classifying thinning (SST) and dehiscence (SSD) of the SSC.
