Right-Lateralization of the Visual Word Form Area after Left-Hemisphere Perinatal Stroke

The visual word form area (VWFA) typically lateralizes to the left hemisphere. This study shows VWFA lateralization shifts to the right hemisphere when language is right-lateralized due to early stroke.
