Design and optimal tuning of fractional order PID controller for paper machine headbox using jellyfish search

This study introduces Jellyfish Search Optimization (JSO) for tuning Fractional Order Proportional-Integral-Derivative (FOPID) controllers in paper machine headboxes. The JSO-tuned FOPID controller significantly improves performance over traditional PID controllers.
