  • Radiographs of the distal hind limbs of 41 sound donkeys were taken in two projections following standardized hoof preparation.
  • Sixteen lengths and nine angles were measured and statistically analyzed for each hoof.

  • The dorsal hoof wall averaged 70-80 mm in length and 55° in angle; the coffin bone was parallel to the hoof wall.
