An Updated Demographic Profile of Orthopaedic Surgery Using a New ABOS Data Set

The orthopaedic surgery workforce remains predominantly White and male, but diversification is increasing. Analysis of American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery data shows rising proportions of females and underrepresented minorities (URM) in the field.
