Mucus-producing tumors with mucinous biliary obstruction causing jaundice: diagnosed and treated endoscopically

Abstract:
Two case histories of jaundice due to bile duct obstruction by mucinous masses due to a mucous-producing pancreatic tumor and a hepatic adenocarcinoma are presented. The diagnoses were made by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography. Endoscopic papillotomy provided useful symptomatic relief.
