Genetic variations in serotonin receptor genes (HTRs) are linked to cyclic vomiting syndrome (CVS) susceptibility and symptoms. Specific HTR genotypes increase CVS risk, while certain alleles decrease it, offering new insights into CVS pathophysiology.
