    Summary

    In normal aging, few sleep changes correlate with cognitive function, supporting the discontinuity hypothesis. This suggests biological changes must cross a threshold before impacting cognition.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the relationship between sleep variables and cognitive performance in a healthy aging population.
    • To test the discontinuity hypothesis of aging.

    • Collected data on cognitive and sleep variables from a large sample of healthy older adults.
