Gender Differences in Electronic Health Record Inbox Message Volumes Among Pediatric Surgeon Specialists.

Surgeon sex did not predict electronic health record (EHR) message volume or length in pediatric surgical subspecialties. This study found no evidence of gender-based disparities in EHR communication patterns among these specialists.
