Abstract:
The replacement of the aortic root and the aortic valve with a composite graft (Bentall-de Bono procedure) is a valid treatment option for patients with an aneurysm of the aortic root with valve pathology. The standard approach is still the full sternotomy. In this video tutorial, we present the Bentall-de Bono procedure using a self-made composite graft in a minimally invasive technique through an upper ministernotomy.
