Anterior Shoulder Instability with Epilepsy: Bankart Repair Versus Latarjet Procedure

For epilepsy patients with anterior shoulder instability, the Latarjet procedure is preferable to arthroscopic Bankart repair due to high recurrence rates with the latter. The Latarjet procedure shows similar functional outcomes but a higher re-dislocation rate in epilepsy patients compared to non-epileptic individuals.
