Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) exclusively involving skin hemangiomas is rare. Diagnosis requires careful histologic examination of skin biopsies, as this cutaneous variant may have a better prognosis.

  • Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) is an aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma subtype.
  • IVLBCL is defined by neoplastic lymphoid cells within blood vessels.
  • Cutaneous involvement is rare, and exclusive colonization of hemangiomas is exceptionally uncommon.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To report a rare case of IVLBCL presenting exclusively with cutaneous involvement.
  • To highlight the diagnostic utility of hemangioma biopsy in suspected cutaneous IVLBCL.
  • To discuss the implications of aberrant protein expression in IVLBCL diagnosis.
