Summary

This study shows that intracameral gas injection combined with stromal fluid drainage is effective for treating acute corneal hydrops. Microscope-integrated OCT guided the procedure, leading to rapid visual recovery.

Area of Science:

  • Ophthalmology
  • Corneal Diseases
  • Medical Imaging

Background:

  • Acute corneal hydrops is a vision-threatening condition characterized by stromal edema and fluid accumulation.
