Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the quality of mHealth apps for endometriosis care.
  • To recommend high-quality endometriosis mHealth apps for both the community and clinicians.

Main Methods:

  • A systematic search of Google Play Store and Apple App Store was conducted following PRISMA 2020 guidelines.
  • Eligible apps were free, in English, and related to endometriosis, adenomyosis, or pelvic pain.
  • The ENLIGHT tool assessed app quality across 7 domains; apps scoring ≥3.5 were deemed "good".

  • Future app development should focus on enhancing user knowledge, self-management, satisfaction, and quality of life.
  • Apps for clinicians should support medical education and decision-making, incorporating factors for successful long-term adoption.
