Hydrogen sulphide alleviates platelet dysfunction in patients with type 2 diabetes

High blood sugar (hyperglycaemia) activates platelets by lowering hydrogen sulfide (H2S) levels, increasing cardiovascular risk. Supplementing with H2S can prevent this platelet activation in hyperglycaemic conditions.
