Summary

Vitreoretinal surgery for full-thickness macular holes (FTMH) significantly improves visual acuity and reduces the foveal avascular zone (FAZ). Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) reveals improved vessel density in both superficial and deep vascular plexuses post-surgery.
