Abstract:
Normal rat's recent bone marrow has been suspended in an isoionic, oxygenated, warmed solution; platelets production by megakaryocytes has never been verified.
Insights
Platelet production by megakaryocytes in normal rat bone marrow was not verified. Recent studies suspended bone marrow in a specialized solution, but direct evidence of platelet generation remains elusive.
