Abstract:
Carbon pores located far from the gel electrolyte are inaccessible to ions, preventing them from contributing to capacity. Here, the inert carbon pores are revitalized by pre-incorporating benzoquinone, resulting in flexible zinc-ion capacitors with an energy density of 218 W h kg-1.
