Conclusions:

  • Recommended parameters include 1.5-2.0 mm occlusal reduction and 1.0 mm shoulder finish line reduction.
  • Further recommendations include 1.0 mm chamfer reduction, 12° TOC, 1.0-1.5 mm axial reduction, and smooth preparation surfaces.
  • The term "finish boundary profile (FBP)" is proposed to encompass the multi-dimensional "finish line" category.
