Evaluating long-term MRSA colonization and household spread: Insights from a community-based study

Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) colonization in households shows low transmission rates. Most asymptomatic carriers cleared MRSA spontaneously over 17 months, with skin disease linked to persistent cases.
