Diagnostic difficulty in an adolescent with dissociative identity disorder

This case report details the complex diagnosis and management of dissociative identity disorder (DID) in an adolescent. A multidisciplinary, biopsychosocial approach was key to addressing the patient's varied psychiatric presentations and achieving rehabilitation.
