Primary tuberculosis of the thyroid is rare in India. Diagnosis requires high clinical suspicion, as symptoms mimic other thyroid conditions. This case highlights early diagnosis using cartridge-based nucleic acid amplification testing (CBNAAT) via fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC).
