Systemic pro-inflammatory response following bronchoscopic lung volume reduction using endobronchial valves

Endobronchial valves (EBV) treatment for COPD increases pro-inflammatory markers systemically. This elevation in cytokines was not linked to negative clinical outcomes in patients receiving EBV therapy.
