    Background:

    • Posterior capsule opacification (PCO) is a common complication after cataract surgery, leading to visual impairment.
    • PCO can manifest as pearl formation or fibrosis, necessitating intervention.
    • Neodymium: Yttrium-Aluminum-Garnet (Nd:YAG) laser posterior capsulotomy is a standard procedure to address PCO.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Nd:YAG laser posterior capsulotomy.
    • To assess the impact of the procedure on intraocular pressure (IOP).
    • To examine changes in corneal endothelial cell integrity and visual acuities post-procedure.

    • A retrospective study of 367 patients undergoing Nd:YAG laser posterior capsulotomy.
