Ultrasound accuracy in acute diverticulitis: A systematic review and Meta-analysis

Ultrasound is highly accurate for diagnosing acute diverticulitis, especially when performed at the bedside by emergency physicians and surgeons. While sensitive for general cases, its accuracy for complicated diverticulitis is lower but highly specific.
