Abstract:
In the field of otolaryngology, the performance of myringotomy and tympanostomy tube placement stands as a cornerstone in the management of otitis media with effusion and various other ear conditions. This procedure holds immense significance not only for residents who are in the process of developing their skills but also for young otologists who are dedicated to refining their expertise in this specialized area. We describe a simple yet innovative teaching model for the simulation of the two-handed endoscopic myringotomy and grommet insertion with endoscope holder.
