Abstract:
Sugiura and colleagues demonstrate a novel hemostatic technique using rectus abdominis muscle wrapping to effectively control hepatic artery branch bleeding without additional devices. Combining mechanical compression and biological sealing, this method provides a safe, simple alternative for managing small arterial injuries in hepatobiliary surgery, minimizing complications and preserving blood flow.
