Background:

Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) significantly impacts patients' quality of life.
Existing quality of life instruments may require refinement for clinical utility.

Purpose of the Study:

To refine the 23-item chronic Hepatitis B quality of life instrument (CHBQOL) into a shorter, reliable form.
To develop the 10-item CHBQOL short form (CHBQOL-SF) using the modified Delphi method and Rasch analysis.
To evaluate the psychometric properties of the refined CHBQOL-SF.
