Prognostic value of CA125 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Serum carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) levels at diagnosis predict prognosis in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Elevated CA125 indicates poorer survival outcomes for DLBCL patients.

- Elevated CA125 correlated with shorter progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).
- CA125, cell of origin, IPI, and albumin were independent prognostic factors for OS and PFS; no CA125 expression found in DLBCL tissues.
Conclusions:
- Serum CA125 at initial diagnosis is a significant predictor of prognosis in DLBCL patients.
