Background:

  • Diagonal conduction block lines at the superior vena cava (SVC)-right atrium (RA) junction are useful for SVC isolation (SVCI).
  • These block lines are not consistently observed, necessitating alternative isolation strategies.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To visualize the SVC-RA junction using high-resolution mapping with atrial extrastimulus pacing.
  • To compare visualization during sinus rhythm versus extrastimulus pacing.

  • Twenty-five patients underwent high-resolution 3D mapping (CARTO 3).
