Psilocybin for disorders of consciousness: A case-report study

Psilocybin, a psychedelic, was administered to a patient with a minimally conscious state plus. This first-ever trial showed increased brain complexity and novel spontaneous behaviors, suggesting potential for treating disorders of consciousness.
