Alcohol Exposure Among Patients With Dilated Cardiomyopathy and Their First-Degree Relatives: The DCM Precision

This study found frequent alcohol use in dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) patients and relatives, but no evidence linked cumulative alcohol exposure to DCM or modified genetic associations. Alcohol did not appear to cause DCM in this cohort.
