Abstract:
MoO2-encapsulated Ni and unencapsulated Ni were successfully prepared by using different heat-treatment methods. The dominant reaction switches from CO2 methanation over unencapsulated Ni to RWGS over MoO2-encapsulated Ni, where MoO2 and Ni are responsible for activating CO2 and supplying H atoms to MoO2via spillover effects, respectively.
