Abstract:
We have recently proposed that mobile transit atoms in liquid4He accumulate in a finite-energy state, consistent with microscopic dynamics in liquids and different types of experimental data (Trachenko 2023J. Phys.: Condens. Matter35085101). Here, we point out that the superfluid transition temperatureTcan be evaluated in this picture and is found to be within 15% of experimentalT.
